Crystal Pussy is an interdisciplinary artist from Poland, currently based in the French-speaking part of Switzerland. Working across performance, site-specific installation, sculpture, painting, and multimedia, she develops an artistic language that merges camp aesthetics, minimalism, street art influences, and a dark visual sensibility inspired by underground culture and BDSM.
As a queer-feminist artist, Crystal Pussy explores the symbolism of the vagina as a powerful emblem of creativity, knowledge, freedom, and empowerment. Her work belongs to the artistic movement often referred to as vaginal art, in which the body becomes both a political and poetic space for reflection, resistance, and transformation.
Her compositions combine minimalist forms with hints of kitsch and subtle references to urban visual culture, resulting in immersive and emotionally charged experiences that invite introspection and dialogue. Drawing from her background in art education and art therapy, Crystal Pussy approaches her practice with a deep belief in the transformative power of creativity. Through her installations, performances, and visual works, she seeks to challenge social norms, reclaim marginalized narratives, and create spaces for emotional and collective empowerment.
